November is a dynamic month of many planetary shifts.
At the beginning of this month, retrograde Uranus temporarily returns to Aries and with Jupiter in Sagittarius we are faced with an unprecedented fire energy.
Saturn in Capricorn and Neptune in Pisces have already come “home” in their own planetary kingdom, but from the moment Jupiter enters its own realm of Sagittarius on November 9, 2018, three large powerful outer planets in their own sign!
This threefold powerful cycle lasts until December 2, 2019, because Jupiter remains for only one year in Sagittarius. Saturn remains anchored in the pragmatic empire of Capricorn until December 2020 and the king Neptune will reign in his mystical underwater world of Pisces until 2024.
The shift of the Nodes to the Cancer/Capricorn axis this month will bring a very different energy for the next eighteen months.
Venus and Neptune resume their direct orbit around the Sun this month, but Mercury goes retrograde.
Let’s have a look!
On November 1, 2018 Mercury enters the fire sign of Sagittarius and remains there through retrogradation until January 5, 2019. In Sagittarius, Mercury is open, honest and focused to reveal the truth. Emotions are expressed more directly. People no longer talk about each other, but with each other. Mercury in Sagittarius is a favorable period for business, to travel, to study or to do business abroad.
On the same day, retrograde Venus returns its own sign Libra. A period of inner reflection, but also a promising economic period and to conduct negotiations.
Every year, the Taurids meteor shower can be seen from the beginning of September to the beginning of December.
The special thing about this meteor shower is that it appears in two separate parts.
The first consists of dust particles from the asteroid 2004 TG10.
The second stream consists of debris that comes from the comet Encke 2P.
The Taurids consist of 5 to 10 meteors per hour and reaches its climax in the constellation of Taurus on Monday November 6, 2018.
From November 6, 2018, the Northern Node shifts from Leo to Cancer and the Southern Node shifts from Aquarius to Capricorn. This situation continues until the beginning of May 2020.
The Nodes symbolize our collective karma and our evolutionary journey.
The direction we have to go.
Cancer symbolizes the need to feel safe and secure. Capricorn symbolizes boundaries and the rules we have to follow. The next eighteen months will be dominated by public and national security, but also love versus stoicism.
The last time the Nodes were on the Cancer/Capricorn axis was from April 8, 2000 to October 12, 2001. Themes from that fierce period may return. For many, this period can mean a turning point in life. This can clearly be seen in the birth chart.
Anyone born with the North Node in Cancer will have to deal with a kind of homecoming.
The North Node always runs backward, so this transit starts in November 2018 at 29° Cancer and ends at 0º Cancer in 2020.
In recent years the North Node was on the Leo/Aquarius axis. The focus was leadership and taking responsibility for who you are through the choices you make. Living from the heart. Making choices from the heart.
The evolutionary lessons we are going to learn in this period will be about letting go of restrictive rules and regulations and strengthening the inner base, the material, nurturing and creative principle. The transit will invite us to set healthy limits in order to maintain control. This emotionally sensitive energy this month will be characterized by the desire to build a sense of security and create meaningful emotional structures.
On November 7, 2018, there is a New Moon in the mysterious waters of Scorpio.

From November 7, 2018, retrograde Uranus leaves the sign of Taurus to return to the fiery empire of Aries at 29º. Uranus in Aries remains retrograde until January 5, 2019, but it will take until March 6, 2019 before Uranus finally makes the switch to Taurus.
This last period of Uranus in Aries can be seen as a dynamic cosmic time.
Uranus in Aries urges us to look ahead, into the future. Breaking old habits is one of the main tasks during this transit. It’s now or never.
This last period of Uranus in Aries also brings unrest in the world. The will to be free and need to break out of outdated structures and to implement revolutionary new concepts is bigger than ever. Restrictive rules and stifling relationships become untenable and unbearable.
We want innovation! New concepts, new techniques, philosophies and fields of study stimulate us to individualize and express the personal truth.
During this period there can be unexpected and violent events that disrupt public order, such as terrorist attacks, revolution, war, refugee flows, strikes and mass demonstrations.
Old familiar structures will fall apart and alienation will take place.
It will take about 84 years before Uranus will return to Aries.
From November 9, 2018, the lucky planet Jupiter enters the own realm of Sagittarius.
The last time Jupiter traveled through Sagittarius was from November 23, 2006 to December 18, 2007. The Dutch economy was booming.
The beginning of a year of renewed vitality, expansion, hope, faith, ideals, trust in life and the future. In the coming year we will be encouraged to push our boundaries. Traveling, other cultures, but also other ways of thinking and living. In the coming year, the education system is likely to change and the church has to provide full transparency. Integrity will be the keyword in the coming year.
With Jupiter in Sagittarius we do not look at what went wrong, but we seek constructive and future-future-oriented improvements. A great year to study, to emigrate or to travel.
There is light at the end of the tunnel!
On November 11, 2018 Mars is at 27º0.5 in Aquarius and that is exactly the degree of the total Solar Eclipse of February 15, 2018, so events from early 2018 with regard to social equality and emancipation get a sequence.
From November 16, 2018 Venus resumes its direct orbit around the Sun at 25º in Libra.
Venus was retrograde from October 6, 2018. Venus retrograde focused on evaluation and (re) assessing relationships, solve existing problems and to see what is really of value.
But also letting go of everything that is not (anymore) valuable.
Solutions will be found in the relationship dynamics with the acquired wisdom.
From November 17, 2018, Red Warrior Mars enters the sensitive waters of Pisces.
The fiery Mars does not feel at home in the underwater kingdom of King Neptune.
Suppressed feelings and anger come to the surface during this period. Self-confidence and decisive action are not self-evident. Because emotions are dealt with, the atmosphere is restless and causes tempers to rise.
It is quite possible that during this transit severe weather conditions or violent events take place, because the suppressed and fiery Aries energy of Mars finds its own way.
For the third and last time this year, our swift communication planet Mercury goes retrograde from November 17, 2018. Retrograde Mercury in Sagittarius gets in planetary trouble with Neptune in Pisces, so take into account big delays when you travel.
Until December 5, 2018 retrograde Mercury in Sagittarius can lead to incorrect information, confusion, misunderstandings and delays in traffic, study problems or problems abroad.
Be cautious in signing contracts or read everything three times over before you do.
On November 17 and 18, 2018 we can look forward to the annual Leonid Meteor Shower in the constellation of Leo.
During this Leonid’s meteor shower there are about 15 meteors per hour.
The Leonid’s are dust particles from the tail of the comet Tempel-Tuttle, which was discovered in 1865.
The Leonid’s return every year in November, from November 6 to 30, but during these nights
these meteors are clearly visible.
From November 23, 2018 the Sun radiates in the ardent realm of Sagittarius.
In the next four weeks, the energy of the Sun in the zodiacal sign of Sagittarius takes us to the magical moment of the Winter Solstice on December 23, 2018.
The search for the truth will be strengthened in the next four weeks by the Sun’s influence in the profane realm of Sagittarius, especially now that the Sun is joining forces with the Great Benefactor Jupiter. The Sun, Jupiter and retrograde Mercury form a close planetary pact in the last week of November 2018 to get to establish the truth, to transform, to grow or to let go.
Pay particular attention to November 26, 2018, because then the Sun and Jupiter form an exact royal conjunction on 3º Sagittarius! This beneficent and promising conjunction of well-being, happiness and optimism in the personal, professional and spiritual fields invites you to get the best out of life. Everything that is started today can be very successful in the long term!
On November 23, 2018, we have a Full Moon in Gemini.
This Full Moon is dedicated to the Truth and the power of words.
The opposition with Jupiter in Sagittarius invites to convert experiences and insights of the past year into new policies and new future perspectives.

From November 25, 2018, Neptune in Pisces resumes its direct orbit around the Sun.
From June 18, 2018 Neptune in Pisces was retrograde.
The period of retrograde Neptune focused on the illusion that everything is possible and thereby the desire for more of what can not be. Many follow the way of confusion, denial and illusion.
The illusion became visible during Neptune in retrograde.
We are witnessing the transition from the old world to the new world.
Everything that is new can be frightening, because as humanity we are moving into unknown territory.
Feelings of uncertainty lead to fear, powerlessness and defenselessness.
Fear leads to violence and a downward spiral.
What is real? What is an illusion?
Now that Neptune in Pisces is direct again, many wake up from the dream. Many of us are being confronted with the dangers of uncontrolled imagination.
The distinction between dreams and reality becomes clear with Neptune in Pisces.
We close November 2018 with an exact opposition between Venus in Libra and retrograde Uranus in Aries.
A real challenge, because on the one hand we want to be together and on the other we want freedom. This truly equates to independence versus the need to be together.
This contradiction can lead to alienation.
An unpredictable day, for all forms of relationships as well as for the economy.
I wish you all a special November month!
