Astrological monthly forecast for February 2021
The shortest month of the year is characterized by transforming power of Aquarius with the Sun, the New Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius!
In January 2021, Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury and the Sun already formed a stellium in Aquarius, a planetary union of freedom and individuality, and that will be reinforced on February 2, 2021 with the entry of Venus into Aquarius!
Venus in Aquarius embodies emotional independence and makes it an auspicious month to solve relationship problems, both on a collective and individual level.
The powerful unification in Aquarius feels like a new beginning…however, looks can be deceiving.
In January 2021 we had to deal with the planetary clash between Mars in Taurus and Saturn in Aquarius. Suppressed deep-seated collective social anger and resentment against the establishment surfaced to be dealt with once and for all. We’ve seen it with the disturbing images of the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
This will be continued at the end of February 2021 with Mars in Taurus trine Pluto in Capricorn, then all will be completed what started in January 2021.
Mercury in Aquarius went retrograde on January 30, 2021 and will remain retrograde until February 20, 2021. With Mercury retrograde (last year in Water, this year all Mercury retrogrades in Air) there is more chance of technical disturbances, miscommunication and revision of interrelationships.
Retrograde Mercury in Aquarius hits the brakes to reorganize, fix, revise, investigate, clarify problems and fine-tune future plans.
So, in view of the shadow period, we have to take into account an increase in technological problems, traffic accidents, problems with planning and contracts, and obstacles in the expression of ideas throughout the month.
In addition to Mercury retrograde, the first exact square of Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus will also take place this month, the planetary tension field of resistance to social changes. This is the first planetary challenge between the giants Saturn and Uranus this year, a volatile time of upheaval and turmoil.
In 2021, the square will be exact on February 17, June 14 and December 24, 2021.
A protracted planetary conflict, a cosmic power struggle between the status quo and structural progressive reform.
The Saturn/Uranus square occurs approximately every 22 years. Saturn represents structures, boundaries, authority, rules and laws, return to the old.
Uranus is unleashing revolution and wants to move forward with a whole new concept and these opposing energies collide.
Saturn and Uranus will continue to be a field of tension until the end of 2022, so we will see a lot of the effects of this aspect, transforming beliefs, creating the new and dismantling old structures until the end of next year.
The Saturn/Uranus square indicates a major economic restructuring in the new world.
A new financial reality with great volatility in world markets.
Society is evolving.
However, change (Uranus) needs a structural framework, a sustainable foundation (Saturn), so the new cannot do without the old to prevent chaos.
The Jupiter-Saturn conjunction which was formed in Aquarius on December 21, 2020 is the bridge to a new era of Pluto in Aquarius from 2023/2024.
Pluto breaks down dysfunctional fundamental structures and systems in order to start all over.
Until then, we will have a hard time.
First, the old collective must be thoroughly cleaned up to make room for long-term social shifts that help us to evolve.
The second half of February 2021 will be dominated by the direct passage of Mercury into Aquarius from February 21, 2021 and the pragmatic connection of Venus in Aquarius that unites the planets Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius.
With the unabated prevailing Aquarius energy, the urge for freedom is just as immense, as is the frustration when this urge is curtailed by authorities.
This energy of “wanting and not getting” is not expected to fade until 2022 due to the increasing influence of Pluto in Aquarius from 2023 onward.
February 2021 closes with the second Full Moon of 2021, now in earthly Virgo.
This Full Moon, also called the Snow Moon, symbolizes the pure germination of nature invisible waiting under its breathtaking blanket of cold.
The Full Moon makes us fully aware of what is needed to find a healthy balance and to stay physically and mentally healthy!
The positive reaching out of the Full Moon with Uranus and Mars in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn brings perseverance, realism and individual confidence, stimulates the creation of new ideas, opens doors to major changes and breakthroughs.
Wishing you all a safe month of February !
