The Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn of July 5, 2020.
The Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn of July 5, 2020.
The total series of no less than six associated Eclipses in the key year 2020
is a long way from transformation.
A series of Eclipses (Saris cycle) has a long-term effect, about two years.
Everyone has to deal with the influence of these powerful Eclipses.
The partial Solar Eclipse in Cancer of July 13, 2018 was the first in a new series of Eclipses on the Cardinal axis Cancer/Capricorn, the very first chapter of a new collective and individual karmic story.
The first Summer Eclipse of 2020 was June 5, 2020 at 15º34′ on the Sagittarius/Gemini axis and was followed by the Solar Eclipse at 0º38′ in Cancer of June 21, 2020. This Solar Eclipse was all about limitations, inhibitions, blocks, hubris and impotence. It brought an imbalance between personal freedom and responsibility, between self-expression and limitation.
The third and final Eclipse at 13º38 ‘on the Cancer Capricorn axis is a penumbral Lunar eclipse and is about a major turning point in the system!
It feels like we’re in the eye of the storm, like we’re on a runaway train and no one can get off that train. Everything is happening so fast that we have to be very attentive to what’s going on.
Fixed values such as love, family and honor, but also material things can no longer be taken for granted.
What you have today may be completely gone tomorrow.
Prejudices or polarized thinking make it impossible to face or see today’s reality.
During this Lunar Eclipse, the current volatile square between Mercury in Cancer and Mars in Aries, the astrological recipe of fear, benefits, hurtful words and misunderstandings, is somewhat weakened by the positive influence of Uranus in Taurus and beneficial fixed stars.
This Lunar Eclipse conjunct the fixed star Alhena and asteroid Vesta trine Uranus in Taurus and sextile retrograde Mercury in Cancer brings a peaceful solution to disputes, positive change, insights, good news, future-oriented thinking and open-mindedness.
The Sun in Cancer conjunct the brightest star Sirius paves the way for solidarity which is needed to face the challenges ahead.
There will be spaces for dialogue, new ideas and positive changes.
There is a shift from Cancer/Capricorn to Gemini/Sagittarius, so this energy will greatly affect these signs.
At the end of 2020, on November 30, 2020 there will be a Lunar Eclipse at 8º38 in Gemini followed by a Solar Eclipse at 23º08 in Sagittarius on November 30, 2020.
Both eclipses have a large emotional effect, which has to do with relationships or money, a feeling of fate, powerlessness and feeling entangled in situations or relationships.
Over the past ten years, from December 2010 to November 2012, former eclipses on the Gemini/ Sagittarius axis have learned life lessons.
What life lessons started for you almost ten years ago? Are you going to realize your dreams during the next cycle in 2020?
A tip: Where are the Lunar nodes in your natal chart? When you have your Lunar Nodes on Cancer /Capricorn or Gemini/Sagittarius axis, buckle down for the next 18 months, because from 2021 onward, everything will be different.
This Lunar Eclipse at 13º38 in Capricorn will be visible in South/West Europe, much of Africa, and North America, South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Antarctica and its influence will last until November 30, 2020.
